National Hamfest to host ML&S Birthday Celebrations

The National Hamfest has confirmed that it has agreed with Martin Lynch and Sons (ML&S) that it is going to host their special celebrations for Martin Lynch’s 70th Birthday. The show is returning to its regular date on the 25th and 26th September and the plan is for ML&S to provide a ‘Ham Radio Village’ type stand hosting a number of specialists from ML&S suppliers.

ML&S have been a fixture in the UK amateur radio scene for 36 years with a fresh faced 34-year-old Martin first opening his small corner store in West London in 1990. Martin had though already been known in the trade since the early days of the Amateur Radio Exchange back in the seventies. The ML&S 60sqm stand at the show is sure to be packed (as it always is) with a huge range of products, bargains and special offers encompassing the important players in the amateur radio. Special plans are afoot to ensure you are part of the 70th Birthday celebrations and will ensure that the visit to the ML&S stand this year will be unforgettable. So, ML&S are now inviting you to National Hamfest as the biggest event in UK Amateur Radio to help celebrate Martin’s 70th Birthday.

The Amateur Radio equipment and accessory trade, together with amateur radio organisations including RSGB, CambHams & VMARS provide the support without which the event could not be held. In addition, a large number of local and national clubs are offered discounted exhibition space to promote themselves in attending and supporting the event.

The National Hamfest will as always also incorporate a large number of Amateur Radio equipment and accessory traders including Amateur Radio manufacturers Icom and Yaesu who will both have large stands demonstrating their wide radio of radios. There will be many other regulars in attendance including the RSGB, BHI and Moonraker. There will also be the regular ‘flea market’ and a host of local and national clubs such as CambHams and VMARS. The National Hamfest remains the largest UK amateur Radio event attracting more visitors than any other event along with having many more stands for you to visit.

If you have never visited the National Hamfest before or have been a regular attender, the time has come to get the date in your diary. Tickets go on sale on the 1st May with specially discounted ‘Early Bird’ tickets available to those purchasing tickets now.

So, why not ‘book now’ at a special price for a great day out seeing what is available in the UK amateur radio market and celebrate with ML&S Martin’s 70th birthday.
